Privacy Policy

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Cynxio Money mobile app and this public website. The app is designed as a personal finance assistant for receipt capture, Gmail receipt import, budgeting pockets, account and transaction review, and account controls. Cynxio Money is operated by PT PERINTIS ORIGIN CODE.

Information we collect

• Account information, such as user identifiers, email address, display name, avatar URL, and sign-in provider details when provided by Google sign-in.
• Guest or device session identifiers when a user continues without a Google account.
• Personal finance records the user creates or imports, including accounts, transactions, categories, budget pockets, receipt fields, statement fields, queue items, and preferences.
• Gmail connection data when a user connects Gmail, including encrypted OAuth tokens, Gmail connection status, imported message metadata, and receipt or statement content needed to extract review items.
• Technical and diagnostic data such as request logs, health metrics, error details, device or browser information, and approximate timestamps needed to operate and secure the service.
• Support information voluntarily sent by the user, such as email address, issue description, screenshots, and related account details.

How we use information

• To authenticate users and maintain app sessions.
• To provide receipt capture, transaction review, budgeting pockets, and account settings.
• To import likely receipts, orders, invoices, and statements from Gmail when the user has connected Gmail read-only access.
• To process, deduplicate, categorize, and display user financial records.
• To operate, debug, secure, monitor, and improve the app and backend services.
• To respond to support, privacy, and data deletion requests.

Google user data and Gmail access

Cynxio Money requests the restricted Gmail read-only OAuth scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly only when a user chooses to connect Gmail. The app uses this access to search for likely receipt, order, invoice, and statement emails and import relevant fields into the user's review queue.

Cynxio Money does not need Gmail permission to send mail, delete mail, modify mail, or change mailbox labels. Imported items are shown for user review before they become transactions.

Google user data is not sold and is not used for advertising. Gmail data is used only to provide user-facing receipt and statement import, support, security, and compliance functions. Service providers may process data only as needed to provide infrastructure, storage, observability, or extraction functionality for the app.

AI and extraction processing

Cynxio Money may use extraction services to identify receipt or statement fields such as merchant, date, amount, and category suggestions. Imported or captured data should be reviewed by the user before relying on it for personal records.

Retention

Account and finance data is retained while the account is active or as needed to provide the app. Gmail tokens and imported Gmail records are removed when the user disconnects Gmail or deletes account data, subject to operational backup, security, legal, or abuse-prevention requirements.

User choices

• Users can sign out from the app settings.
• Users can disconnect Gmail from the Gmail settings flow when Gmail is connected.
• Users can delete cloud account data or delete the full account from the app's delete account flow.
• Users can request help through the support contact on the Support page.

Security

The backend stores Gmail refresh tokens encrypted and scopes app data by user account. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so users should avoid sending passwords, full card numbers, or unrelated sensitive information in support requests.

Children

Cynxio Money is not intended for children under 13 and should not be used by anyone who cannot legally consent to these terms in their location.
